LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE-Monthy Python

Monthy Python fué un grupo británico formado por 5 humoristas:

Eric Idle,
Michael Palin,
John Cleese,
Terri Gilliam,
Terry Jones y
Graham Chapman

que sintetizó en clave de humor la idiosincrasia británica de los años 1960 y 70.

Su fama comenzó con la serie de televisión Monty Python Flying Circus ( El circo ambulante de los Monthy Python), aunque también hicieron películas, escribieron libros y hasta recibieron un premio BAFTA (concedido por la Academia Británica de Cine y Televisión) por su contribución al mundo de la comedia.

La versión que podéis escuchar y cantar a continuación forma parte de la banda sonora de la película La Vida de Brian (Monty Python´s Brian Life) de 1979.

Y ya sabéis: ¡¡MIRAD SIEMPRE EL LADO BUENO DE LA VIDA!!

If life seems jolly rotten (Si la vida se muestra asquerosísima; jolly, aquí, es adjetivo intensificador)

When you´re feeling in the dumps (Cuando tu ánimo esté por el suelo)
Don´t be silly chumps (no seas tontorrón)
Just purse your lips and whistle: that´s the thing. (Simplemente frunce tus labios y silba: eso es lo importante)
